An angry mob carrying torches and pitchforks has assembled outside the gates of Memorial Stadium. Rampant rumors are flying around cyberspace that Bill Callahan has been asked to resign his position as head football coach. Questionably reliable media outlets are reporting as fact what members of the Nebraska Football team say just isn't so. This entire season is turning into a bad soap opera, but I am here to provide the 'real' story.
At the beginning of next season, Tom Osborne will step out from a steamy shower to reveal that he never actually retired as Nebraska's head football coach. Nebraska fans will awaken from their sleep to discover that Husker Football did not die and everything that has happened over the last 10 years was just in their dream world.
Husker Football didn't really die, it is still alive and well! It was all just a bad dream.
