Mo is at it again
Maurice Purify was cited early this morning for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. You would think Mo would be smart enough to keep his nose clean after his legal troubles earlier this year stemming from an incident at a Lincoln bar. He isn't giving Callahan much choice here and I wouldn't be surprised if he was suspended indefinitely, or kicked off the team altogether. Callahan is a tough disciplinarian and won't put up with this crap, unlike some other coaches in the Big 12 that I won't Stoop to mention. This is all really so sad for the Huskers because Purify was set to have a huge season. It is even more sad for Mo because it sounds like he may have a problem. I hope he gets whatever help and guidance he needs.

Callahan released a prepared statement: “We are aware of Maurice’s situation and we take it very seriously. I met with Maurice (Friday) and explained to him that he is indefinitely suspended from the team. At this point, his future status with our team is uncertain.”
So what's the "sentence," Wally? Miss the first three games? The season?
They don't write much about it in Arizona.
Mo's status is still to be determined. There is no doubt he will sit out some games.
