The Bo Pelini era begins. Again.

The Huskers hit the field this week for the first of 15 spring practices that will culminate with the annual Red-White game on April 19th. New head coach Bo Pelini inherits a defense that ranked 112th in the nation in 2007 and there is nowhere to go but up. Pelini has stated that all positions are wide open so don't expect any starting jobs to be determined in the Spring, but do expect plenty of competition, evaluation and a brand new attitude. Expectations are high that Pelini can right the sinking ship and return the Blackshirts to respectability, just as he did during the 2003 season. There is no reason to think that it will not happen.

Wally, I really like the passion that BO brings to the table. Its refreshing to see what is happening in Lincoln. Lets hope this all translates to the field.
